BabelFish Stablecoin Benchmark

The idea of BabelFish Stablecoin Benchmark or Stablecoin Rating system was discussed internally couple of times. Recently @dolarcripto metnioned it in our Discord general chat channel.

We need experimentation, but urgently need an index of the stablecoin-ecosystem across protocols and chains - babelfish can and should build that.

So what aspects of the stablecoins should be taken into consideration and how to evaluate it so we could have an optimal and objective results?

What I would like to evaluate is:

  1. Transparency

  2. Liquidity / Market Cap

  3. Sentiment of the users

  4. Security

  5. Collateral type / type of the stablecoin

  6. Decentralization

  7. Interoperability with dApps

  8. Costs of use

  9. Yield opportunities

Any more things to add? Those have different weights - here starts the fun - how to approach this. We could give grades for each of the aspects - from 0 to 5 or 10. More important aspects could have a fixed multiplier. What are Your thoughts and ideas?
